Lake of the Ozarks - Bachelor Party

I was thinking about having a bachelor party at lake of the ozarks in MO. anyone had any experience renting house boats there? The only thing I know so far is "party cove". We just started talking about it last night, so I am not sure if it's too late to start planning for Labor Day weekend, but we are still interested in later summer if anyone has any tips.

I dont have any info on the house boat but I've been to party cove a few times. Last time we went we stayed at some cottages just on the other side of the Grand Glaize Bridge... its about a 30min boat ride to party cove from there. They had a boat ramp and slips to rent so it was pretty good. Keep in mind... Labor Day weekend will be out of control.

Oh... and I wouldnt plan on doing much riding... its almost impossible to find smooth water. Locals may tell you differently but I've never had any luck.

Matt, what's up. I had my BP on a house boat at the Ozarks last summer. Of course that is my home lake so I am very familiar with it. We had an absolute blast. I know you've heard stories about party cove from some of the other Memphis boys that come up every year. Houseboats book up quick for holiday weekends, so you probably need to get on it for Labor Day, but if you line it up I gaurantee you won't be disappointed.
