im looking into an 05 premier 136 and when i lifted one off the rack w/out bindings it felt like it was filled with cement. does anyone know the weight of premier 136 or 136 dna? the board looks like its a sick board i love the molded in fins and channeling but im wondering if the weight issue will really affect my riding?

hyperheavy should have been the name. Their whole line is pretty heavy. They seem to break less than others. If you like the premeir you may try a CWB absolute to try to get a little lighter. I think there is about a 1lb difference between the foam and dna. I don't know the weight of either though. I'm sure it is close to the 2006 so you might check the website.

I have the premier DNA 136 and I think the board is light as hell. I love how it is so loose, but tracks really well. Has consistent pop for a three stage rocker.

I don't find my premier 136 to be heavy but it is extremely slow.

Check out the Gator Boards Gonzlez 138, very similar shape but lighter than the BIOLIGHT, but heavier than the DNA.

RONIX!!!! Danny's new board the "ONE" is 5 lbs. lighter than his previous Premier model, with bindings of course. Bindings are 3 lbs lighter and board is 2 lbs. lighter with the new Ronix setup. Not to mention it rides awesome! Give me a shout and I can set you up in about a month!

Chase, I am loving the set up. I probably only have about 15 sets on it, as I bought it later in the season. I just picked up a '06 Roam and can't wait to ride it. It should be here sometime in the next couple of days. I have a set of '05 ERA's sitting around, so they'll get some use. Lets hope we can get some more riding in

Yes, the 2005 Premier Bio2 is heavy. I have one and it is heavier than the DNA and heavier than other boards. The DNA was a lot more expensive and lots of folks said they broke them. The good news is that the Bio2 version appears to be very strong. The shape is great, but there was obviously a reason they offered two different cores for this board.

I'm gonna be buying a roam board real soon. What size should I get? I'm about 5'11 and 195lbs. I ride a 140 wakeboard.I'm thinking the 144. Cant decide. Any feed back?

Corey,

Weight doesn't really matter significantly in my experience... it's primarily just a sales tool ("this board is lighter, so it spins better").

Technically, a heavier board should allow you to carry more momentum too...

I say don't worry about it. Unless you're entirely psychological about your riding, it won't make even a noticeable difference.
