DIY Swivel boardracks?

Has anyone done Swivel boardracks? I have the standard billet tines on my roswelltower, but I´m thinking of trying to make my own swivelracks, Please show me pictures if you have done it!

I was thinking of doing this myself. It's a project that is in line behind many other projects. I have Bat-Racks that mount to the flat side of a 3" oval tube. Was thinking of using some Architectural Aluminum Channel 3" x 1".


and put them together... sorta like this


The problem is, the only channel I can find in 1x3 is 1/8" thick. I'm concerned that 1/8 will be too thin.

And some Lanyards to limit range.

Or maybe some gas-struts

thanx craig, it actually helped me with some ideas there.... its not impossible that i will try to make some.... everybodys input is welcome...

Oh yeah, I remember seeing those. I wish I had access to a CNC machine.

mmm id really love that too... but i think a CNC is kinda big

biggest problem is how to make them solid.
craig straigt idea looks like the malibu swivel racks and they are not solid at all.
