good for her. but just some advice she should stay sideways a little longer at the start and that will help her stand up with more balance.

That is awesome. I have been trying to get my 5 year old daughter to try, but I think she has seen Dad do to many face-plants.

Phaeton what size board is your daughter using?

good job! i don't know many 6 yr old girls that would try that many times... she seems like a determined lil girl and maybe if she stays focused shell be throwing down some ill inverts by the time shes 10!

good luck

P.S. it looks like u were going real slow... its easier to keep ur balance if u go faster

That is so cool. A couple of questions. What type and size board is she on. I have a 5 & 6 year old that I want to teach either this year or next.

Second, can she water ski? Did you teach her that first or just go right to the wakeboard.

INCREDIBLE! That is great! Congrats and keep up the determination. You can do anything you put your mind to. Way to go girl!

She is riding a 128 Trip with small ultra suc bindings.

John correct we are now pulling her at 13 mph and she has much better control.

Chris congrats it's a great feeling.

Mark L. I pulled Reigan on the carpet with her board on a few times. We really worked on body position. Helped a ton.

Mark she does not know how to waterski. We asked if she wanted to try and she replied NO. I want to Wakeboard.

We did attempt to teach her to wakeboard when she was 4. She got up and rode for thirty feet or so but that was it. Once she got over the fear of water then she was all set.

Very inspirational Phaeton. You must be one very proud father. If I could convince my wife to have a kid, I'd be there with ya :-) See ya at Prineville Res.

Mark, my Brandon rides the Micro Squirt with the mini speed sucs. We tend to pull him btw 18-20. He's now 6 1/2 and about 55 lbs. The package is on sale at Overtons $239. Last Havasu trip he rode from the dam to steamboat in one pull (several falls, but one pull).

Btw, does anyone know where I can find a "pink, Hello Kitty" wakeboard for Sierra? She's almost four but 423% less physically-apt than her brother. Its kinda wierd, but we're working on it. Probably saving it for Annapolis or something ;-)
