I wanted to post this in a couple of places. One, to be sure Lyle saw it and, two, to hopefully inspire some of those parents out there who want to get their little ones out on the water having fun.

My son, AJ, and I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Lyle of Chrome Dome Industries for doing most of the work on this project.

We had an old Obrien Blunt 137 that Lyle trimmed down to a 99 and reshaped the tip and tail. We sealed it all up and AJ and I got the paints out.

We should be on the water very soon trying to break it in.

Here are some photos:

Those graphics look the same as the new X-Star. He might be able to get a job with Mastercraft

That's a good question. AJ and I have already talked about when he gets bigger and needs a bigger board that maybe we should pass it along to another lil boy or girl who wants to learn to ride too. Not sure, we may consider keeping it as a "keepsake" sort of thing.

If we don't keep it tho.....we won't make anyone BUY it, we'll give it away so that we can help another lil ripper get started.

That board looks like it turned out great! In the first picture "AJ and the "99" top " the board is almost as big as your boy.

Is he pumped to ride his new board?

I bet he gets up first time.

You will still be working on your toeside while he is throwing Tantrums.

I know you got your toeside. Wish I did.

Can't wait to see AJ ripping it up!
