I am new to the sport this summer and i am hooked. so i want to buy my own board so i can really get started. how do i know which board will be good for me. there are like a million different styles and they are all only a little different. what is the diference between the fin placement, nose design, weight, width. im looking to have fun, jump, maby land a flip in a year or so, but im not going pro. i want a board that is a good beginner board but one that will last well into my intermediate years. also, are these the same boards in kite surfing, that is the next thing im going to do.
thanks

mike
