I was just wondering if it was possible to use stretch wrap vs. shrink wrap when winterizing a boat. What would be the cons of the stretch wrap comapared to shrink wrap? It certainly is much cheaper...

It would never be water tight, and to thin.

Stretch wrap loses its strength over time and will become loose. There would really be no way to wrap it around the boat properly to get the best fit. as NuBu stated, it would not be waterproof at all.
