I am a first time inboard owner and noticed something strange my first couple of times out. When driving in a straight line at speeds above 20 miles per hour and I let go of the steering wheel, the boat wants to take a fairly hard right.

Coming from an I/O background I never experienced this sensation. Is this something unique to inboards due to the prop and rudder set up. Is this happening due to the prop rotation and wash pushing against the rudder.

If this is not normal, is there an adjustment to fix this?

On other point of interest, the steering wheel itself is not centered when going straight but offset at about 90 degrees at the 270 degree point. (If that makes sense). I can this be fixed?

The boat is a Supra 22V with the Indmar 340hp if that matters.
