2009 Nautique 210

Got a chance to demo the new 210 Sunday with 10 of my closest crew...Wake was kinda mellow and has a super long transition. Its really wide and merits either a few mph hike or 5ft off your rope. We had around 3K in it and it was super clean, I just wasn't a big fan of the softness. I'm used to a wall (2006 211 w/4K). SICK looking boat though:

The tower looks semi Ok in that picture with the bimini up and in black. Still not good but ok...

Titan 3 on that boat would be the shiz. Wonder what it would look like in black?? Jake...he has the flip up seat adjusted to see over the windscreen.

I dig the look of the boat. I may even like the tower (need more than 1 pic).

But, I still don't understand having to put 3K or 3K lbs in a boat to make a good wake.

Hey Jake in ref to the window visability. It looks like the driver is sitting on the "flip up" seat bolster in that picture. When in the "flip down" position, you look thru the window glass.

I think the boat looks dope. In my opinion its about time CC took a step towards a more progressive looking boat.

As far as the wake goes...Like I said above...it was more mellow, wider, and had a long transition. Much more like a Malibu or X-Star. It peaked up a bit when we took it back out a little later in the day with less people in the boat and a little more weight in the nose. Nose weight helps, but I noticed we had to fight the porposing (sp) by moving the trim tab up and down. Not the worst wake I've ridden by far (Centurion ;)) But....I'm for a revamp back to the old school brick wall of the original 210. Unfortunately I don't think that will ever happen though, these boats keep getting wider to accommodate larger crews, so I doubt the old, ridiculously hard wake characteristics will die of with the narrower hull designs.

Just preference I guess. No pics though...Maybe I'll get some in the future.

As far as the windshield comment...I think the little marina fairy was driving with the seat bottom flipped up. It's not in the line of sight.

I'm with Luker and the old school brick wall of the 210. Just yesterday with stock weight and 6 adults, O the 210 wake!

Im with most people on this one. To me, the boat looks more and more generic. Wakeboats/skiboats used to have a distinct look to them, and now that other companies are gettin in the game, they are all startin to look similar, minus the badging and graphics.

And as for that tower......I sure hope the designer was drunk when he did that. Personally i think it is hidious. Like the said, he lets copy Malibu's illusion x, but make it funky.

That tower is whack... its too bad nautique feels the need to join the trend and make their boats look "progressive" and totally wreck a great boat like the 210. the old classic styling used to be their calling card now they are going away from that to stupid towers and ugly graphics. the original flight control tower should have never been changed and the graphics are not cool by any stretch of the imagination. ... like they always say- "IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT"
