Ya its winter here now so all we do is watch TV, all the fat dudes on the show tried their hand at a Sky Ski, pretty funny, it was at Havasu, I think we also saw a short cameo of Jake doing a big air roll, sure looked like him. Finally some national publicity. LOL

I saw it. There wasn't much there, but it was nice to see. What boat were they in?

Matt., Titan looks cool on your 98. A bud is looking for the same for his 97. Are those cup holders in front of the windshield, next to the front tower mounts? Thanks!

Mitch,
Yes, those are the stock cup holders. Luckily we didn't have to move them when we put the tower on. We actually just sold that boat and are waiting for a new Calabria.

Cool, Good luck w/ the new boat. Can you still ride in Oklahoma? Just winterized last week, very sad indeed.. Hey, what are the sky ski's so much $$. I can find a used airchair for under $500. Is there that big of a diff? Was hoping to learn next year, seems like a cool think to do when it get's a little rough after skiing and boarding. Can it be self taught? I messed around last year on an airchair, and just could'nt do it, but out of the 3 of us, we all sucked, and none of us could do it. It was a borrowed chair, and no one to show us. Thanks!

Mitch,
Yes, you can still ride here with a drysuit. Yes, I will agree that the Sky Ski is not cheap, but if you take your time and learn to fly it, you will start to see your boards and skis stay in the locker. Go to ebay and type in "sky ski" on the home page and you will find a few listings a little cheaper than in the shops. That is where I bought mine. You really need to watch the instructional video over and over to understand what is going on when you fly. I didn't have anyone around to watch either, so I know you can do it if you want to.

Garry,
It would be nice to go year round in shorts, but that's okay. I like the quote in your signature, "Go high or go home". I never thought I would see the altitude I have until I got on the Sky Ski.

Hey Mitch,
Doesn't look like you skimped on your boat. Don't do it on a foil either. A Sky Ski will get your beginners up easier & allow everyone to progress a LOT faster!
