Ok, so I thought I would use my proximity to the ocean to my advantage and buy a used kids board (5'0") for wakesurfing. I was unsuccessful in getting much slack in the rope. We were riding the same wake on a 6'1" board a few weekends back so I am wondering what it is that I am overlooking. I thought a smaller board should ride as well, if not better. What is the difference between my 5 foot surfboard and the 5 foot wake surfboards? Thanks in advance.
