The rivers starting to thaw and Im gettin the jitters so I know it's gettin close. What water/air temp is everyone willing to start at. Today on the Maumee river it was 35w/41a. That's seems alittle ridiculuas but I know were a couple weeks from starting. For saftey purposes what is a good combo start with? My ratarded bro says 100. As long as the numbers equal 100 your good to go. Given the fact that we'll be using full wetsuits I thought we could trim alittle fat off those numbers. What do you think?

Thats an old waterski saying ive grown up hearing...Im pretty uncomfortable at just 100. I think if it adds up to 115-130 your good to go, but thats my opinion

But i have heard that saying, i say it. I have ridin at 100 total, and its pretty rough.

I rode last year at a combined 118 w/ no wetsuit and at first it sucked then I got used to it. I know it was bad because on the last when when he picked me up I could tell my speech was starting to change, haha.

Coldest for me and my TX crew was 36 air and 40 water. That's in dry suits. Much below the 100 deg rule is pretty dang cold for wetsuit riding IMHO
