position of underwater LEDs - 2004 x-star

Where should I mount underwater LEDs? I wanted to put them to the outside of the exhaust, but that area is not accessible from the engine compartment. They are the bulletlines X6000s.

Hey Joe put them in between the exhaust ports. There is easy access to that location in the bilge.

What do you guy's use to seal the hole's for the wire's? silicone or 3m 5200?

Use the 5200 fast cure. Slow cure is super runny and messy. Wipe the excess off with rubbing alcohol.
