I have been wakeboarding for quite a few years now. I consider myself an advanced rider. Got a few simple inverts, love to spin just can't go over 540. I feel like I am at a plateau as far as progression and that it has a lot to do with the fact that I can't seem to make myself keep my eyes open in the air. I just automatically close them even when I consiously try to keep them open, and if I do manage to keep them open I tend to get disoriented and fall. I think simple spins and inverts can be hucked blindfolded, but now that I'm trying more complicated tricks I feel like I need more air awareness. So I'm curious... do you all keep you eyes open all the way through your tricks? Sorry for the long post.
