I bought the 134 watson last year and was only able to ride it once behind a smaller wake so I didnt get a good feel for the pop. But it had good snap when I would ollie. I was just wondering if I should try to sell it and get a bigger size. Im about 5'11"/ 160lbs

I rode 132/134 boards up until this last one i bought and I'm 6' 175lbs... It just depends on what you're use to

A bigger board will pop more (more rocker, more surface area) but the board doesn't make all the difference

I would say you're on the big side for a 134. Do-able but not ideal.

Will I be losing noticable pop because im starting to do more technical tricks and I want as much as I can? What size should I get if I get a bigger board..

I have the same board and I'm 6'2" and about 75 kilos (160 - 170 lbs). I like it, I still get a ton of pop on it too. I guess it comes down to what you like. I've don't remember riding anything bigger than a 138 though (maybe my Cousin's board way back when I tried wakeboarding for the first time) so I'm not too sure how a big board feels. I'm real happy with the 134 though.

yeah, im about 160 and my 136 shane throws me straight up with no worries. the shanes are alittle wide too so you have more surface area with less length

I'm about your size (only a little heavier) and I get a lot of grief from my crew for riding the 134 Watson (they all ride the 138), but I've ridden the bigger boards all the way up to 142 and this one seems comfortable to me. I would probably prefer it be a 136 but btw the 134 & 138, I like the 134.

I also think most boards are getting proportionally wider anyway, so the standard size charts could probably be adjusted a little to show "acceptable" lengths getting shorter. I say it's all personal preference...if you feel you're getting short-changed by the shorter board, jump up a size. All I know is that I've seen some of my crew do some sick shizz on my board so I know it's more than capable!

Yeah it says it can be ridden 1-2cm smaller because its wider I would rather a 136 to. It should be warming up next week so I can finally start riding again so will see how that goes.
