currently have 4 rev 10s powered by 2 750/1 jl amps. thinking about adding a 410 in the middle and putting a 750/1 jl amp to it. would that be to much power to the 410 and would it try to over power my 4 rev 10s?

we have a ton of guys running the REV 3-Some with a single REV 410 and pair of REV 10's. So you would be running that plus another pair of REV 10's. So no worries at all. The 750/1 would work well for the REV 410 so your good there too

That would be pretty damn insane! 2250 watts to just the tower, that'll put you in the game

I guess having an X80 gives you plenty of room for tower speakers.

to much room. doesnt look very clean. the tower is so tall and and the boat is so wide, makes my 4 rev 10s look like tweeters! debating weather to add a 410 in the middle of the 4 rev 10s or just add 2 more rev 10s. what do you guys think would sound the best?

I pair a syn2 or in JL line, the 750/1 to each rev410 when I offer it.. I think it's the perfect power set up for them with ample headroom..

I think 6 Rev10s would look better.

i havent got the chance to really hear a 410 yet, do they really have that much more mid bass than a rev10?

I am going to say yes they do b/c of the amount od cone surface area being utliized. The Rev's have the horn throat coming thru the 10" woofer which takes out the middle portion of the woofer. I'm pretty sure that less surface area means less in Mid bass and lower frequency tone.

Since the Rev 410 has the horn and flare mounted in the center of the unit allowing total and complete surface area of the 410 to be used - you should get a little smoother and more promounced mid bass.

I have to say that having the Rev 10's on my tower - I do get all the Midbass that I am looking for and my sub makes up the difference. At the end of the rope, you may not be able tell much difference in mid pass production.

Have you seen the CIE boat - the put a rev 410 in the middle - it looks great!

A rev 3some sounds better than 4 rev10's or 2 rev410's...

If you run a "rev-3some" or any combination of REV410 with stereo HLCDs, how does that work from an audio channel perspective? Do you run the REV410 "mono" with either left or right channel? Do you combine left+right channels?

Mono is left right channels combined.. So yes mono...
