Hey i was wondering if anybody could tell me if it would make a big difference if i rode a 141 premier i am 140 pounds and it says for 160 plus riders but last year i rode the 140 and it was fine is there a big deal in wut size your board is

the new premiers have wider tips so they ride higher up in the water. that dosn't mean that it would be a bad thing to ride, some people like to ride bards that are way to big for them (or small). i'm 153lbs and ride a 2002 premier 135 dna and i like it cause i can throw it around prety easy.

if you ride a bigger board it can give you some more pop because there is more surface area plus you can float your tricks more and soften your landings

I remember going from a belmont 140 to a premier 135 and there was a dramatic difference. I was able to get the 135 around faster on inverts and 3's but got more pop on the 140. Also I was more tired after riding the 135. Murray says "ride the biggest board you can, more to land on."
