Hey there, I was out this weekend and halfway through the day I heard these two beeps that went off every 2 min or so. I referred to the owners manual of my 2003 Centurian Hurricane and from what I can understand, the beeps came from my audio warning system and the two beeps are apparently telling me that my transmission fluid was running hot. I checked the dipstick and verified that I had oil (though it was hard to see) but I do not have a transmission temp gauge so I do not know if this is the actual problem. Has anyone experienced this and if so, is it a situation that needs to be corrected right away, or can I just shut the boat down for some time to give the oil a chance to cool down before continuing?

i can't recall if the hurricane is a v-drive. if it is, make sure that you're checking the transmission fluid and not the oil in the v-drive transfer case. just a thought.
