Hey all,

New to the forums but have been browsing for quite awhile now.

Bit about me, my name is Brandon, 23 y/o, moved to San Diego two months ago. Always had an interest in wakeboarding but since joing the Navy 3 years ago i've only been able to ride when i'm home on leave in MN in the summers, so a handful of times a year. Needless to stay, back at the beginner stage.

Looking to pick up a board soon, and looking for a reliable crew who likes is patient with a "new" rider and is willing to give advice and help me advance. I'm always down to give gas money, bring beer, and help launch/clean up the boat and whatever else!

Hey Brando!

I'm in the same boat... in that I have no boat.

I moved to San Diego (Poway) a year ago and still looking for friends and fellow wakeboarders. I'm 35, I used to live in Las Vegas and owned a boat out there, but sold it to move back to California. I have my own board & jacket, just need a tow. I can pitch in gas money, drive, hold a flag, and board. I'm a laid back rider, don't get too fancy, and I've taken out my share of newbies in the past. Willing to travel anywhere in SoCal, and am even up for an occasional trip out to the ol' River to find people with boats who need extra riders.

Brando, keep your knees bent -- where are the wakeboarders in San Diego?

Will you guys pm me with your cell numbers? I live in Poway and do El Cap at least every other week, usually Sundays. Have a semi-regular crew of 3-4 but always need more. I have a Sanger V210 and ride with about 1,250 of ballast. No expert but working hard at getting better.
