what is your favorite boat to ride behind? do you have any advice on a wakeboard boat that doesnt have a super wide wake but gives you a good kick up into the air? i ride behind malibu 23 LSV's but the wake is so wide and it kills my knees. i either go too far or case the wake.

You know you could shorten the length of your rope which will shorten the width of the wake. You probably just need to adjust the length of the rope to find the sweet spot for your boat. Regarding my favorite boat i have only been on a couple boats so my opinion is very limited.

I agree with Josh and Will. Shorten the rope if its too wide. What are you riding at? Behind my vlx I am usually 75-80 depending on conditions. Behind a SAN its usually 80-85ft. I would also comment that a lot of riders really enjoy that 23 lsv wake and it throws a good wake with proper weighting. I doubt that changing boats purely for useable rope length would make a significant impact on your riding. Shorten the rope and go back out when your comfortable with it.

P.S. if your knees are hurting now, it will only get worse with a SAN, unless you land perfectly on the downside every time (or dont run any ballast), that wake gets pretty big.

X-1, last year's X-2, X-Star before that. IMO, one of, if not the best, wake out there for the $$. The boat is not the biggest of the bunch, but produces one awesome wake...
