This past weekend I had the chance to ride with Keith of the Raging Buffalo Wakeboarding school. Just giving him a quick plug. It was a great time and he is a great guy. I look forward to my next few sessions so if anyone rides the Fox River look him up. Peace.

I would agree with you whole-heartedly after taking a few lessons with him -- not only does he have a completely kick a$$ boat but his instruction is practical and effective. Don't forget, every Wednesday at the Broken Oar in Cary is a demo or contest - Keith's boat is usually in the water then, too.

I havent got to ride with Keith but I did meet him and check out his ride at Midwest Militia's May Days, seemed like a good guy with a progressive attitude.

I would also reccomend checking Gordy Bubolz for instruction, or Gunnar Shular.

I took a lesson fron Keith at the Raging Buffalo last year. Went heelside w2w for the first time behind his boat. I couldn't agree more about what a nice guy he is, very patient and laid back.
Also, I agree with lizrd. If you live in N.Illinois or S.Wisconsin, you should check out Wake-up Wednesdays at the Broken Oar. The demo night is pretty cool. Just bring your stuff, sign a waiver, and you get to ride behind some pretty nice boats.( X2, X1, and Xstars)

Well Murph has that going with his website above but it would be nice to narrow it down to the McHenry,Kane,Lake County area. I am always willing to buy the gas if you need a third. ANd to all in the area, Midweek Wake-up at the Oar is a good time so check it out.

And I think we need one of those nice C.I.E Monikers too.

What's up Mike, I talked to you last year about Gordy Bubolz and heading up there. I have checked out soulriders and midwest militia as well. So is wakecoupons still going on??? If you ever head down this way for the Militia or otherwise let me know.

Adam I was at May Days and will be at Boot Camp and Fall Fallout.

You may have missed it, but midwestwakeboarder organized a one day "old guy" clinic a few weeks ago at a discounted rate with Gordy, we will be doing another one in early September.

Mike,

Let me know when that is in September. I would definitely be down for that if I could tag along. Peace.

I took a one day private lesson with Gordy Bubolz 2 years ago and it was worth every $$. What a great, easy going guy, who will do everything he can to get you riding better. Great trampoline and awsome riding location. Will be going back soon I hope.
