I figured since I was finally making a little progress on some upgrades Ive been wanting to do, I would start a new thread with pictures of the projects coming along for anyone who cares
I took the boat in last Thursday to the upholstery guys. I went in and checked out the progress today at lunch and they're coming along great I think. Feel free to throw out opinions if they're nice
I've been working on the acrylic rings for behind the amps the past week. Finally got all the rings cut, edges frosted, and the mounting holes drilled. The amps will be stood off the amp rack 3/4" with some hex standoffs. All the wires will run back in behind the amp rack for a clean install, with the rings between the standoffs and the amps. I got all the LEDs glued in the rings last night ready to go. Amp racks is ready to b carpeted when it gets here.
I have another pair of Rev 10s and syn4 being shipped in so I should be seeing it by the end of next week I still have to run 2 more wires thru the tower to run them.
I will be ordering Perfect Pass Stargazer in the next couple weeks so I can put that on when the boat gets done. I plan on mounting it next to where the stock remote is now, but replacing the remote with an upgraded one, and also adding one to the transom. Im looking into buying a CMD6 or CMD7 clarion radio so that I can use the USB to run the ipod. Going this route, Ill be able to scan thru songs from the transom.
Big thanks to Chpthril for all the help on wiring and building the acrylic amp rings He's also making the speaker and cupholder LED rings that I will be installing when they get here
Once I get around to figuring the offset on the wheels, I will probably be ordering 5 new wheels and tires, and mount the spare on the trailer up by the bow.
Thats all I can think of for the upgrades right now. Summer is coming so its time to get some things checked off the list, starting with the upholstery, tower speakers, and amp rack

It is a really cool look. Plus I really like the feel of it. Looks and feels like it will be tougher, but only time will tell that. With that vinyl it will look just like the 2013 Tiges inside!!

Yea, the carbon fiber next to plain pleated vinyl looks pretty sick IMO. A guy was supposed to put on 15% tint this morning and he stood me up. Hopefully he will get to it tomorrow and Ill post pics. I just got my last amp mounted up. Now I just need the boat back so I can get this 2nd pair of Rev 10s on the tower and the amp rack mounted. Ill keep everyone updated

Interior is all done besides the engine cover and captain chair. I got the rev 10s wired and mounted this morning. It was a pain in the ***!!!!! I mounted my JL amp and wired it all up. I need to glue my boards to the hull tomorrow so I can mount my syn 4 amp rack. It's already pre wired up so I have to just run my 0 gauge to the distro block. All my cupholders need widened out so I think I will try to get the cupholders fitting tomorrow, and maybe wired in along with the speaker rings. Still a ton to do but it's a work in progress. Pictures dont do the interior justice at all. The carbon fiber looks yellow in the pictures and it definitely isnt. I cant wait to get it out in the sun. I need to get some decadence flooring, the guy that Owned it before spilled stuff all over it

Been getting slammed with snow lately and the boats been put up in a storage unit. Already adding onto the system, just like I said I wouldn't I have an extra jl1000/1 amp and enough carpet, so I decided to build a couple boxes for the rear ski locker. I kicked the idea of a 2nd sub around and had some people talk me out of it, but since I practically had everything to do it, I figured what the hell
I search Craigslist and found 2 10" L7 kickers, 600 watts RMS which should b perfect on my 1000/1. I called kicker and the guy recommended a 2 ft ported box per sub. So I built 2 of them each will b on separate sides of the ski locker, sub pointing to the hull and the port eathier facing the transom, or cabin. Ill move my battery bank to the middle, in between the boxes. I already have 2 group 29 batteries, but think ill add at least 2, possibly 4 more. Each amp will have a rocker switch remote turn on in the glove box, so I can designate amps depending on what I want going. The batteries will b on their own bank, and will rely on a shore charger for recharging, not the alternator when depleted. Ill keep everyone updated on how they sound, because I'm sure there is others who want more bass. It'll b mainly a boat shaker, with maybe more output with the wings up while we're docked.

In the process of being fiberglassed
Box for like a glove, there's stuff behind the box, so it'll tuck farther back into the transom a few inches
L7's for 200 bucks

That's a steal there. My buddy has 2 12" L7s of a garbage amp and they are stupid loud. They should supplement some rumble to the boat at least with my 13w7

WOW!! I bet that thing pounds!! Does it rattle your dash like crazy?? I have a 10 W6V3 under my dash now and it makes it rattle a little but not much. I'm worried the two L7 are going to tear it apart.

I meant to add in that the boxes are tuned to 40 hz because that's what kicker recommended. I thought around 32 hz but he said they operate great in a box that size. I can't wait to see what they do once in the boat.

Figured I'd give a little update after an awesome 2 days at the lake and on the water. Temps were 80 the last 2 days, water 49 Thursday and 53 Sunday. I scraped the idea of the L7s because when I finished the boxes, they were about a 1/2" from fitting and tucking back in against the transom So I just mounted the amp rack and got it ready to go. I mounted the transom remote, and best of all, stripped all the graphics off the boat I've got 18" wheels coming soon to throw on the trailer too. Here's a few pics tho of the boat after I buffed it, finesse it, and waxed it

Bryce that looks awesome!
I love how you took the decal's off. That really brings out the beautiful lines in your boat! Grats on the way it turned out, you should be super proud of that. I always hated that boats had to have that giant registration sticker, why couldnt they make them less ugly?
Did you put LED's in the tower speakers too? Where did you get the LED's that go in the speakers?

Thanks, yea Im pretty stoked how it turned out. I want to pull the KS sticker off but figured Id better see if I can get a new one before I peel it off and mess it up
I didnt put LED's in the tower speakers.........yet I can always add them later but dont know if I will.
Mike's Liquid Audio (TigeMike) had the rings made and soldered all the wires on the LED's in a group buy on Tigeowners. He also made the cupholder rings too. Pretty easy install and they look awesome IMO

They look really nice. Did you put them on a dimmer or just a switch? Are they always on or on a separate from your ctsy lights or on the same switch?
I am trying to customize my boat a little, and it is currently with the guys at Sundown Audio (small competition speaker company), he is a good friend of mine, and while he does the sound I want to give it some visual pop!
Thanks!

Mine are just tied into the courtesy lights. No dimmer or anything. I wish I would have frosted the outer edge of the rings to disperse the light a little better, so you couldnt see each individual LED. I dont think they look bad at all tho, just me nit picking
