well i had a couple questions
1. is there anything extra you need to hook the speakers up?
2.what speakers are good for the money?
3.are the expensive speakers worth the more money then getting cheaper speakers like kicker speakers?

I had a cheap set last summer, this one I have a pair of wetsounds mounted up. I just wish I had the 300 dollars back that I lost by buying the cheap ones first.

this may be a stupid question but i know nothing about speakers, will i need some sort of an amp? if so what kind/size?

Yes you will need an amp for tower speakers. The Headunit does not provide enough power for the speakers. But for an amp it all depends on the speakers. Lets say you have 100 watt rms speakers or maybe higher, like the wetsounds for instance. You will need at least an amp that can produce 100 watt rms to each speaker.

So hope that helps to answer your question
