I am thinking about building a swim platform for my i/o. I have seen new boats with them. Has anyone done this?

I believe there is someone that posts here by the name of Julia?, and goes by the nick-name of "mom the driver". I remember seeing a post that showed a picture of a sweet platform made for their I/O. If you do a search way back by name, you may be able to find the old post.

Darren,

What type of wood did you use. What did you finish it with. Are your supports alluminum.

I used T&G quila (cheap mans teak), a bucket of expoy and sealed it with a two pot resin type sealer. You need to seal quila really well because it bleeds badly and stains the gel coat. The brackets are stainless, the tower dude made them up for me. The platform is just about to round out it's second season (about 500hrs of use) and has stood up really well. It needs to be sanded down and sealed again now if I want that new shiney look again.

I would love to get a deck as well, but the next thing on my list is a flush system like MST guardian since I am in salt water...
