Ok, so it was pretty nice here in NH today...73 degree air temp,48 degree water temp. I couldn't wait to get the first run of the year in, so I brought my daughters for moral support, my wonderful wife was driving the boat ('05 Tige 22i)on an empty lake.

Intentionally didn't bring the wetsuit, strapped my board on, stood on the deck, handle in hand, line untangled, and gave the wife specific instructions to not dally getting me out of the water!!

Took some encouragement from my girls, hopped in, and HOLY SH%$!!! Needles in my skin! Took a deep breath, my wife took up the slack, saw I was ready, and hit it. I came out if the water, got my balance, and took about a 15 minute ride, warm as could be.

Best ride of the season, going back out tomorrow.

OH, the hardest part of the trip was the $3.97 gas on the lake!!!! WTF?
