at 8 pm it still looked like nice 4'8" x 19 3/4" x 1 7/8" board with bamboo deck and 5 oz s-glass top and bottom, weighed about 5.5 lbs. next time i'll be a bit more careful with 2kW hair dryer. it's baked beyond recognition. :_(

That is a nice looking shape and the bamboo veneer really does look nice. I feel for you on the delamination. Jan, was the sandwich layer 5 oz?

I really like the bottom skin treatment, did you leave it with just the tail skinned like that?

jeff, thanks. there was 2.5 oz e-glass to connect skin and core, all wrapped with 5 oz s-glass. i put leftover veneer from the top there to cover the fin area and then blended it with the spackle to the bottom. the delam is not that bad, but the foam has completely melted under the heat.
