At 1" thick what is that 48 blanks? :-) You'll have to post up that huge block of foam. :-)

That's what I meant - you'll cut 1" thick rockers from it and probably net 48 blanks. You'll have boards coming out your ears! :-)

Wow -- that is a great price!!

If you hotwire from a rocker template you will get much less than that...

But like Jeff says -- if you cut them one inch thick (flat) and bend the rocker you will have boards for days....

i dont get yall's math
i see it as 24 blanks with stringer if cut at 1" and last blank would be thinner. this would be to glue the 12" wide sections together.
or 4 blanks cut at 3" thick blanks for a rocker template.

anyone use 3lb. eps foam ??
anyone doing artwork on their charity board.

It's all dependant upon the dimensions of your board Mark - if it's 1" t x 12" w x 24" l you can get over 100 out of that billet. :-) What are you're dim's?

I've used 3 pound on the rails - it's pretty stiff/dense. Overkill for the core, IMO.

No art on mine - just e.balsa and the logo's.
