Im just curious to what rope length and speed (mph) everyone out there is riding at. Cause when were at the Lake it seems like alot of riders are going real slow or riding on super short rope. The guys I ride with are going BIG
and landing all kind of s---, so I dont were off.
I'm just curious to what you all got going on.

22.5 - 24 at 70-80 ft. Depending on boat. Its usually 75 at 23 though.

ali, what speed and length do you ride. I posted something similar because it looks like people are riding way short and way slow. Doesn't take a lot of talent if your W2W is like 6ft. I guess a shorter rope makes up for a lack of proper edging.

I just started riding at 85 feet 24 MPH. I've been riding behind a SAN and never rode that far back before. I like landing on the downside of the wake rather than in the flats. The knees just aren't what they used to be.

It varies from boat to boat, but behind mine i ride 25mph at 70 or 75.

Nothing makes up for proper edging. A shorter line just makes the distance from crest to crest narrower. Edging and pop is about going up, not forward.

Beginners like a shorter line because at slower speeds the wake is wider at a given rope length, compared to a faster speed and same length rope.

You can definately go bigger on a longer rope, but sometimes it helps to adjust rope length a little bit so you hit a nicer part of the wake. Tweak on it, you know?

are you looking at your speed odomiter or your perfect pass odomiter the perfect pass is more stable and correct because it comes off the motor.
