If you want pop and nice landings find yourself a '03 Byerly like you were asking about in the previous thread. THe '03 is the model before the weird cutout corners one. I am sure you can get a lot of pop off the CWB I just haven't rode one enough to get a lot of pop out of it.

Wakeboards are like women. They are all good, just some are better. But you've got to pick the one that is right for you. Not everyone wants the same women or the same board. I am sooo Deeeep!

The new absolute platinums are totally awesome!! I would say taht they kill the HL premier. I have riden both boards and the Absolute Platty was all around a better board. A++++

Again, its a matter of opinion. My son, Derek rides for CWB. When he was testing their boards, he tried them all. He ended up on their 136 Tattoo(most people never consider that board). He also tried the Absolute and loved the pop, but thought it was too slow for his style. He also tried the Premier(and the RickyG) awhile back and liked the speed but thought it popped out, not up. My Point is, you have to find the board that is right for you. You can't trust someone else judgement, because they may not ride like you and your style.

I had on 03 byerly that I loved. I have the 04 now and like it as well. If there is a way for you to demo the 04 I would. You can't beat the 03 though, I wish I still had mine. Mine broke so they sent me the 04.

Oh crap, Tom let the cat outta the bag! And I was being soooo good keeping my big mouth shut!!!!! 882001 - slid or not? If not, call CWB - this is absolutely not typical of CWB boards unless they were punished on sliders - in which case any and all boards would have issues. PS: both of the boards will do well, but I think you will find the landings to be softer with CWB. My $0.02

I have ridden an 02, 03, and 04 Premier, and now ride an of Absolute 141. Both are great boards, but I really prefer the Absolute much more. The premier seems slower in the water. The Absolute has more pop off the wake, and a MUCH softer landing, and rides much better on edge. Finally got to try an 04 Parks, and loved it. Going to ride the 05 Parks this weekend. Just my .02 cents, FWIW - probably not much!!

I'm going to get a Parks board cause he can do a double half cab. I wish the Parks bindings had a Boa. Maybe they can put a Boa on the Parks handle I want. When are they going to make the Parks board help me on my toeside edge? That will be cool too.
