Yeah, the last set of pictures were really just spur of the moment things. I was hoping the camera would come up with some better pictures, but it was foggy and damp, and the camera would continuously catch reflections of the water in the air. Drove me nuts. If I could get a tripod to work with it, I'd jump on it. I just hunted down the exposure settings, and I can get that shot from the street in a much better manner now. I've gone through every menu available, and I just noticed that there's a sunset option, which would have helped for those darker shots. The first one, I was counting on it shooting a picture like that, I was taking a picture of the sun, and I was counting on past experience with this camera to do that. There was also a boat out in the water, and the way it silhouetted the area that the boat is made me happy. The third one didn't turn out half as well as I would have liked. However, the liquid force background I made for myself (the link on the first post), I was pretty satisfied with, just because it had a certain feel that reminds me of a summer evening out on the lake. Plus, I have some kind of obsession for abstract art similar to that (used to make a lot of forum signatures on photoshop), and I liked how the picture turned out like it did. Just a personal preference. I'm far from any kind of experienced photographer, just a guy with a nifty little camera who likes to take pictures... But one who didn't know (prior to your post) about the extra tricks I could do with it. Thanks for the critique.
