Best Camcorder

Im looking for a camcorder to get some footage this summer of us wakeboarding. I've looked around at best buy and ebay, but everything looks about the same. Im wanting to spend around $200-$300 and will more than likely be buying it used of eBay. Anyone have any suggestions for a good one?

some sony handicam digital dv camera are fairly cheap, and you can get housing for them for fairly cheap as well

Just got a Sony DCR-HC36 last season for $300 and it works pretty good , shots from the boat and a home made tower mount also.

i got a sony for sale. need to check model. used about three times. worked great because of the image stabalization. didn't get the hard drive unit or dvd version because of freezing or skipping. it uses the small tapes. hit me up if you are interested.
