something similar to a spray on bedliner maybe? i have no interest in refinishing my teak, and would like to have something black or blue in its place....any suggestions?

A friend of mine is going to have his platform made out of clear plexiglass. Definitely something different!

I think I heard something like $15 a square foot. Not sure if that is right or not, but it sounds kinda familiar.

Tony, can you post pics of your platform installed? I'll bet I'm not the only curious one.

I agree - I dont like the teak either and was looking to trade for a fiberglass. The liner option sounds good though. They hold up well in trucks. Pics!!

Man, I thought for sure someone would have had experience with this, maybe this is a "market oppurtunity" for someone with all the old teak out there......

I had the platform on my old boat sprayed and it worked great. According to the business I spoke with black is the only color you wanna do. All of the other colors tend to fade and change color in the sun. You might wanna talk to the people who you have do it and see what they say. The only thing to keep in mind is that the platform has to be dry dry dry! I had mine inside the house for a month b4 i did it
