After a year and a half of having to polish my tower speaker cans constantly, I decided that a year round boat doesn't go well with the bling factor. I decided to try something completely different as I did with my trailer last year. I now have Line-X speaker cans.

Before I mounted them.






I hate speaker wire so I ran it entirely through the tower and clamp.




See any speaker wire?... NOPE.




I think the black actually looks better than the polished did.




One thing I didn't expect was the improvement in sound. I had the guy spray the cans inside and out, and I swear I'm getting twice the overall sound quality and volume I was prior to having them done.

Maybe you just haven't had them on in a while and forgot how good they sound =)

Looks good Cliff. I'm sure that the Line-X is working to cut the resonance out of the metal cans. That is why they are sounding better.
