so im already looking ahead into the offseason and found a couple things im goin to try.. what does everyone else do in the offseason besides tramp boards? i saw a something that looked like a skateboard but had some wheels that allowed you to carve like a surfboard or wakeboard and i think you could strap in does anyone have any idea on this thing???

If i know what your describing its a long board. you cant strap it on your feet but you get the sensation your are on a surf board as in carving like you said. they are so much fun...i didnt really get the feeling that i was wakeboarding so much. but i mean its fun and i highly recommend it.

Flow Board. 2 Radiused axles with 6 or so wheels per axle. Allows you to really tilt the deck on turns. It feels alot like carving but the falls hurt. Lots of fun on a nice smooth hill.

not a long board this thing im talkin about was weird. it was the size of a regular skateboard. The wheels are hard to describe. the wheels went from one side and made kind of a half circle to the other side of the board.. if that makes sense the guy riding it could carve hella tight and was riding it on half pipes and ramps too.. i saw it on a commercial and its really hard to explain

Indo board is a type of balance board. Go to www.indoboard.com to get info on it. They sell them in a wakeboard shops and skate shops, and they're great practice!! oh - and my off season is wakeboarding. i'm a snow girl, so i'll be skiing and - if i don't break anything learning - snowboarding! i just checked out the flow board ... oh, hell no!!!

Kylie, thanks for the info. I just bought an Indoboard off e bay. If it can help me reduce my number of nose dipping face plants it will be worth every penny.

Les - just hang onto something (seriously) when you first try getting on it, because it's likely to send you flying otherwise!!
