I've been riding the 138 since July. I love the board, but think I would be happier on the 142. I've just been waiting for it to pop up on sale. If anyone is looking for a deal on a gently used 2009 138 I have one for sale in the Dallas area for $150.

I'm the same, closer to 185 lb, so I think the 142 will indeed be perfect.
