What is a ballpark figure for a 2011 Malibu 23LSV that is well equipped not including tax and license? I am doing some research for a friend and I was just initially quoted about 85k without a trailer. This sounds 15-20k high for that boat to me if it doesn't include a trailer.

I was about to say 75-80k with a trailer.

That sounds closer. That quote I got would probably come to 90-95 with a trailer. I think Malibu's are really, really nice but I don't get that jump in price.

The prices went way up in the last couple years, that's about right if you got that quote from the dealer I'm thinking you got it from.....

Nu, do you think it has as much to do with the dealer switch? The new dealer has a hell of a lot more overhead to deal with then Bakes and they probably cater to a weathier clientel.

I think some of it is the dealer, but the dealer cost went way up as well after the switch.

i was told by my dealer i could get a loaded lsv with trailer and keep it in the 80s. i am so glad i didn't pull the trigger to trade up this year in hopes the new 22 will be as sweet as i hope.

Oh yeah, forgot about that.

I still think they are smoking crack if they think that boat is worth anywhere near 90k. I will probably try and push my buddy towards Centurion or MB if he wants new or find a nice 1 or 2 year old used Mastercraft, Malibu, Nautique for 30% less then what the new ones are.

Yeah it's getting pretty crazy, watch the price creep up on the "affordable" brands in the next few years as well.

The 23 LSV @ AWS could be had in the low 80's with the trailer, or so I hear.

Buy 1-2 years used! The warranty is nice, but not 80K nice...
