'07 hl line

just got my catalogue...what do ya'll think? good year for hyperlite?

07 is gonna be a great year. i cant wait to ride the imperial

Well, with Ronix producing wakeboards that are so much lighter (allowing for at least a 50% performance boost and 75% more air off the wake), Hyperlite will be losing a chunk of its 12-18 year-old client base. Haha. Fiscally, 2007 might not be the best for hyperlite, BUT I want to get out and ride that new Byerly AND Imperial. They've got a lot of fun, really interesting shapes, so I think 2007 will be solid for them.

One issue I think Hyperlite will encounter is in their graphics department... They set the standard for the LONGEST time, but I feel they have begun to slip. Sadly, good graphics WILL sell a board, and bad graphics WILL prevent people from buying a board. Liquid force, CWB and O'Brien I feel have stepped up and moved in front of Hyperlite artistically.

From what I have been hearing, people are not happy with the length of life of the Ronix boards -- reportedly, they are breaking down quickly. Everyone wants to try something new, but my guess is that people are going to look for price and quality. My bucks are for Hyperlite!

im really pumped for byerly's stuff. he's ALWAYS been who i look up to most in the wake community. i want me one of them new era's with his name and that backpack too haha

I think this year will be dissapointing for hyperlite. The graphics this year look awful (era) and they also lost 3 huge members of their team. I think that liquid force and cwb are at the top of the wakeboarding industry right now (ronix hasent been around long enough). Those three will enjoy the most success this year.
