I have a 98 Sunsetter LX, and we've been doing ok surfing behind it, just trying to get the wave better. Do you guys use the wedge for surfing? Just wondering if it somehow hampers weighting the boat on one side, and if how effective it is at those slow speeds with the boat not on plane yet. Thanks, --Ryan

on an 05 sunscape 21, we don't use the power wedge as it affects the rooster tail and sprays the port side when surfing. not as big a deal starboard.

Well if anyone cares, we tried it, and the wedge is crucial for my boat. Best wave we found so far was with the wedge down, nothing in the ski locker, a 300# bag under the back seat, a 300# bag along the left side, and we got everybody to sit on the left rail. We were going 9.5MPH on the Stargazer.
