Just wanting to see what some of your garages look like. I just moved into a new house before christmas and have been doing some work to organize the garage!! I would like to see what others have done. Im looking for some ideas for organizing tools and stuff.

I put a Big Mezzine shelf above the garage doors, I just finished of the board rack, and put in some storage units, I do have a BEER Fridge to!! Thanks

Anthony that pic has been on the internet garage forums for a few years... It would have been nice to see pics of peoples actual garages on here, not ones dug up on the internet. As the original posts says.. lets see what some of YOUR garages look like

Hey i got can lighting in my garage, although MY garage sure doesn't look like those! I installed multiple rows of cans all on seperate circuits so i can only turn on areas i need not the whole freaking garage.

ahh, "old bu" you caught me.. in light of your awesome investigative work, i have forwarded some personal photos of my car, my boat and me chattin' it up on WW just for you.. enjoy.

and before you decide to take this thing a mile like when you hijacked the X2 post, i was merely giving jay organization pics for cleaning up his clutter.. hence, "neat and tidy" and "storage above" references..

Not really a garage, more like a boat closet. But no monthly storage fees!

This thread is good in nature but sucks in reality.

It's always cool to show off the "man room" but lets keep it real!

how about show your BOAT in your garage. and keep it to your garage, not your neighbors, not your fathers and not all these Porsche owners.

I am just finishing up my shop and am always looking for good ideas.

Here is mine. I move in in two weeks. For size reference I am 6'4" 250lbs. First thing I am going to do is epoxy the floors and paint the walls. 45 SECOND trailer pull to boat ramp!

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Yes, it is a pretty sweet set up. I've owned boats for 30 years, and the first 20 I spent towing all over CA, AZ, UT, and Oregon, so I feel like I've paid my dues. That '99 Sanger has not been out the front garage door since '02!

Isaac, we do have a dock, just off to the side. That's the reason for no racks, we just ride off the dock. And I do lower the tower, but those early Skylon towers are real easy with the loosening of a couple bolts.

Sorry, m taylor ~ there's no public access, residents and guests only.
...Besides, telling where it is could lead to some wakes on that water

This is a pic taken when I painted the epoxy floor. Wall-to-wall peg board. $200 in hooks. Everything else hangs from ceiling hooks (ladders, bikes, sawhorses, canoe, ...).

Starting to get it cleaned up...

Sold the car, the two dirt bikes and the three choppers... so I should now have room to walk around the garage and find my tools...

Will see how long I will last without the other toys... or else I will be right back where I started!

Never thought of measuring my garage before I bought the house. Of course I never thought I'd have a Malibu that same year either! Damn garage is 21 feet 8 inches deep! My freakin Expedition won't even fit in it without some creative parking! Luckily I have an awesome friend that let me park it in his heated garage all winter!

Finally got moved in, half the garage is done. The truck is hiding the bad half. I keep all my gear in the basement so that the temperature doesn't get to it, so mine stays pretty empty.Upload

These threads kill me! I just moved into the house and I swore I measured the garage right. When I backed the 22 up to the door I just laughed and shook my head.

We have 18' of yard on the left of the house and it goes back at least 75 feet so I'm thinking of building an addition to the house which will have a pool table, a boat, neon lighting, and a bar in it.

I'll take pictures by 2012. :-)

@ Matt- 34 X 50 (1700SF) with 14 foot ceiling height and 12 foot doors. We just finished it in the last few weeks and could not be happier with it.

no porsches or anything, heck can't even fit my boat in the garage! but here is something I came up with for board and gear storage!

I was at a Menards that was moving locations to a new Super Duper Menards and they were getting rid of a lot of display crap cheap. I must have walked past this 4 sided vhs/dvd display rack 4 times when my wife suggested that it would make a good storage rack for my boards and other crap. So I looked at it close and $25 later this is the result...

Hey Midwest, how's Janesville doing? I heard that the GM plant is closing, and I know a lot of people from Janesville work there. I used to live up there and ride the Rock.

By the way, here's mine. Still a work in progress, but we'll get there. I just got the receiver hooked up, mounted speakers on the ceiling, and hooked the DVD player up to the stereo. Now, I just have to mount the TV, paint the garage, and epoxy the floor, and we're good to go.Upload

Yeah, I finally found it today. That garage has so much room. I can barely fit my truck in the new garage, couldn't get the boat even close. Starting to talk to some builders about building a new house, ruling out anyone that won't allow for at least a 25' garage.

yeah you kind of ruin yourself when you buy your first home and it has 4 car garage! Nothing really to look forward to (unless you build a 5-6 car!)
