Hey guys, just picked up a new to me 2012 lsv 247. Love the boat, however l, I do believe it is almost impossible to surf without more ballast. I've ordered some fat sacs to hopefully help. I ordered an 1100 locker sac, 1100 L shaped bag for the rear seat, and ordered a 750 for the bow. What I'm wondering is if that will do the trick. We are all beginners but I figured a big wave with a lot of push and length would be easier to ride. Anything special I should do? Any help would be greatly appreciated

That will make your wave sick! It will also help in your learning to surf. I would get one of the surf devices too but you'll need another sac for non surf side locker to weight the boat evenenly, the extra weight will also make the wave even better
