I am in Northwest IL, and I rode for like 10 minutes on sunday until we were pulled over for no spotter by a park district sherriff on my buddies lake (what a homo on a power trip). Anyhow the air was 55 and the water was a little over 50. I am working on getting down to southern texas and then maybe Orlando FL

Time is running out in Central Illinois. Water temp dropped from 73 to 62 from one Sunday to the next. We were out with just a heater shirt Sunday. I plan to ride this weekend, but it's supposed to get down to 28 on Saturday or Sunday. So, I'm guessing we're about done.

And we're done here in Central IL. Took one last set and pulled the boat last night. Water was right at 50, air about 40. Our lake went from 73 two weeks ago, to 62 last weekend, to 50 this week. That is quite a drop.

We may try to get out one more time this fall if the temps come back up, but my crew has other things on their mind and it is hard to get them interested. I'm planning on trying to catch a couple of sets over the winter when visiting my son in the Los Angeles area.
