We were at Windmill Cove having lunch and heard sirens..looked out on the main channel and saw a sinking skiboat- not sure what kind. Nuts!! 3 Sheriffs were picking up the passengers. We asked them later what happenned, they said they weren't sure but they think the boat was overloaded??}

no.. this one was in the main channel right in front of windmill cove.. it was a direct drive.. We caught a glimpse of the people on the sheriffs boat.. all their belongings, food, clothes, coolers were all over the main channel.. really sucks for them.. hopefully they had insurance

Also a boat turned over about 1/4 mile east of the disco bay entrance on sat around 5pm. Some kinda of low profile hydro 20' maybe??? Was interesting since so many people were out but barely anyone was riding the Vic's.

Cheers...

My mom told me there was a overturned Sanger that got towed back into disco bay on saturday afternoon.

Among other reasons.... This is why I split town on the holidays. LOL!

The wake behind that boat is massive. The bad thing is it takes 20 mins to get on plane.
