am i crazy or are raleys the easiest invert.....easiest trick there is?

i can do raleys, tannys, ts backrolls, hs rolls 911s, and 3s, and raleys and 911s are prolly the easiest tricks i got, anyone feel this way or is it just me?

i can't do raleys but looking forward to try one. so far a backroll is the easiest/only invert i got but its way easier than 360s. whats a 911? i've heard of them don't remeber what they are.

Chase,

I agree. I learned the raley this summer, and now that I can throw them, I wonder what's so hard about them, and why isn't everyone pulling them off? When I started trying them, someone told me that it wasn't a hard trick at all, but landing them was tricky. They were right, I'm amazed at how easy it is... I've even started to think less of the trick. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to take one way out in the flats, but it's too damn easy.

A raley is not considered an invert.

A 911 is like a shifty raley; you point the nose down at the water and look back to where you left the wake from.

i agree, i landed one on my 3rd attempt where I went ballz out. The two attempts before I would have landed but i pulled my self in too far and butt checked.

take on to krypt if they are soo easy. also maybe a 313 of the double up since you guys are soo crazy. Oh and chase; thanx for listing your entire trick arsenal, I pat you on the back I just wonder if you can actually do 911's or are you just accidently stargazing your raleys?!?

I understand what a 911 is. I can stick raley's, so what do I need to do different to land a 911. Same edge? pop? etc.

Ringo, your just mad you cant do any of that, i was showing what i could do that way people would know what i was comparing it 'so easy' to doing, oh and if you would grow the balls to try a raley you would realize that yea, they are easy, and since your so smart you would also know that a 911 is where your nose points towards the WATER therefore if i stargazed my raley it wouldnt even be a 911 would it?

It may be easy for you but I still am struggling with it. Its probably because I lack the balls to fully commit but I have 11 other inverts and can't do it.

So how do you do a raley ? What is the proper way.

Thanks

Proper raley procedure:
cut 12874591875 feet out and charge the wake at 1324789059148275 miles per hour and prepare for takeoff! works even better when barreling down on a big ass double-up.
ps....bring your insurance card on the boat.

I just landed my first one, it is actually pretty easy when you cut even weight with both feet. marcin, Basically you take an agressive progressive cut in making sure you have even weight on both feet. This is very important, I always got my board whipped out sideways because I had to much weight on my back foot. Cut all the way through the wake and just let the boat pull you forward and your feet will whip back, then you just pull it back down.

I tried a raley once and had a hard time walking for a week. My left knee took a bad shock on the landing and although nothing broke or tore, it was severly sore for about 5 days and I couldn't put much pressure on it walking.

Another time I tried a raley, I got a massive pounding headache for 10 minutes.

Raley's are no joke b/c the fall is the most painful in wakeboarding.

Haven't landed a raley yet though. All of my attempts have been behind a boat without a tower. I'll try again this weekend with the tower and see if it makes a difference.

I can throw the trick, but don't bring it back down fast enough. Not bringing your feet down all the way results in terribly painful landings.

Damn Sameer... Ever thought about trying a different trick? sounds like you've crashed enough for all of us?

Good luck with the next attempts... The tower will probably help.
