Alright for the people who wanted the new thread with another name, here ya go.

For those who didn't see it, here is my 1990 Ski Brendella. I got a sweet deal from the guy who had it before because the engine (PCM Ford 351) has low compression on 2 cylinders.

I plan on doing a complete rebuild, and other than being bored .030" over (351cid + bored .030" = 357cid) it will be built to factory spec. As much as I would love to throw a nice cam and GT-40 heads on it, it's just not going to be practical. PCM 357 Mag sounds alright too.

I plan on getting this in the water in August sometime. I will be updating this as I go...here's my progress so far:

Would be a perfect time to bolt on a set of GT40's or GT40p's...cheap horsepower.

You need to change your username to some 'Vice' name to make it legit.

I found a 21 foot 92 Brendella open bow. How is the wake? Nice project, love the colors, & the wheels.

I like the way black looks but it can be hard to see oil leaks should you have one.

Man, I don't know if I could bring myself to paint this thing pink...even though it is a Ford, haha. But we'll see. I gotta get this thing together, then I will worry about colors.

marc- I don't know how the wake is on this boat, I haven't seen it in the water yet. And yes, it will be worth it!

Go with gray block and heads with pink valve covers to match the boat. It'll exude confidence!
Old     (liquidmx)      Join Date: Jun 2005       08-15-2007, 8:26 AM Reply
Alright, then MAYBE a ford blue block with pink valve covers and air cleaner. That way you could repaint those to make it look normal later, lol.
