Ok.....there has been disagreements with people not posting damage pics on other threads targeting brands and cracking etc. etc.. This is not a brand specific thread. So no brand bashing..please. Lets see damage you have done to your board (all brands), boat, tower, trailer, and yourself. Any damage related to wakeboarding is wanted. Disclaimer: do not go out purposefully do damage to impress the masses here. Just want to have fun seeing what HAS happened to you and your gear.

Not my boat, but we toojk these pics one day out at the lake. Some guy in another boat was watching his rider and not where he was going, this little runabout took a good hit from the starboard side:

Steve,

I remember I was there pulling my boat out of the water when that boat came limping in. Blake and I went down to see if everyone was OK. One girl was bleeding from broken glass. What really got my attention was one dude who said he ducked down on the floorboard, then saw the other boat's prop go by right above him. Another one said he jumped over the side before the other boat hit. Man! Scary stuff. Sure could have ended worse. Glad everyone was OK.

sure could have ended worse but it sure could have been prevented.. its scary to think how much people are really paying attention while on the water.

Busted boats...man pretty sick. Hope they were insured. How about busted boards...more busted bindings. Broken bones and w-rays is cool. Keep them coming.

it almost seems like maybe you had the screws too tight...not that should happen still...

how does someone run over a boat? Like how can you be sooooo distracted? It blows my mind sometimes, the crazies on the water....

Mavy,

Gator will be sending me a new pair of bindings, which is great, but they are on back order right now so unfortunately it will be awhile. I didn't have the screws tighter than I have them on any other bindings. I agree though; either way that should not happen.

So are you just SOL untill they can ship you the bindings?

daaayyyyyyyummmm......I couldn't imagine getting into a collision with another boat on the water. People getting tossed into the water....props spinning...ACCKK!

Yep, SOL till they ship. I will be going back to the 2004 parks I have been riding. I was thinking about just buying something else and just selling the new ones when they arrive. That way I will have new bindings for this season.

We've had a few boats that I thought were going to hit us or our downed riders before. That's when it really sucks. When they're going towards the rider you've really got no choice but to stay positioned between the JackAss not paying attention and your buddy bobbing along helplessly.

How many times do you guys see drivers standing between the two front seats facing the starboard side looking back at their riders and occasionaly glancing forward?

It should be legal to just go pull their plugs and leave'em. Last year we were going to pull some "Night Op's" and do just that but the wife talked me out of it. Or "Told" me out of it.

Don't have any pics but here's a clip of one of my buddies bustin' a couple of ribs on a faceplant.

Ken,

That's scary if he broke ribs that easy. Everyone takes a fall like that once in a while.

Ouch! Yhea Ron I know what your saying. But you could also say, every fall can be unique or different than that from the last. Just like that poor kid that collapsed his throat from the board striking him. Ended up in the hospital. But like what Dallas Friday said: You never know when you might instantly become just a spectator of the sport. So true. But it's our passion and nothing will stop me from rippin it up.

that pic has been around for a long time... Another one ive seen is a truck hanging off the the side of a mountain. the only thing keeping it from crashing down to the bottom was the boat was up on the road still and they were still attached... wish i had that pic

Yeah, I gave him crap about that. I've had plenty of falls that were as bad or worse w/out breaking anything.

He had just come off one of those crash diets, the grape-fruit one I think, and lost alot of weight in a short period of time. Think he had to drop about thirty pounds to get into the reserves. Told him that probably had something to do with it.

If you watch how he goes in though, I think it was more about how it extended him out all at once then the impact.

I jacked my ribs up pretty bad bull riding once. There wasn't any impact when I did it but it torqued the crap out of me the way it spun my legs out from under me.
