My engine is the 320hp tbi Indmar. Is there a need to clean, change, drain your fuel/water separator??? If so, how do you do it? Thanks!

I believe the owners manual said to change annually. It screws off and on like an oil filter. I've changed several, nearly always spill a little gas in the boat, let it air out and run the blower a little extra time before starting.

It's on the passenger side of the motor, close to the stern and down towards the bottom. Looks like an oil filter.
