Think anyone would buy one of these, or am I just wasting my time?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Yeah, I was kind of thinking that too... buy maybe there's some people that don't want to mess with building one, but also don't want to buy an expensive one.... but you're probably right... anyone who really wants one, could just make their own...

it's for supplying your impellor with water so it can pump it up and cool the engine... then your boat can run out of water. Also it's used for flushing salt water and stuff out of your system.

I think maybe lazy people might buy one--I just took a toliet plunger and cut a hole in it--seems to work pretty good--you never know though

yeah, I guess that's what I was thinking.... it's for the lazy people. Also it's not really the time of year most people buy one... I just think it's crazy that people pay so much to buy them in magazines and stuff... I guess if you have a $30k boat... another 50 bucks isn't much though... :-)

I think it is just as easy to loosen the hose clamp and remove the hose from the intake and have a fitting from that to a garden hose. Watch it as a garden hose will probably only supply enough water for idle. If it collapses the hose all water stops. Some people just tip the boats intake hose up and insert the garden hose in let it run.

I have a ProFlush installed. It works great and I've never had a problem with it. Here's a thread on it and a pic.
