Those speakers sound great in my boat just on the head unit. I just asked for two more sets and I am going to buy a few more for xmas presents for my parents ponty. Good lookin out man.

Adam, the JL's are far better but if I remember correctly they are grossly underpowered by the stock JL amp. Find an amp that will put out 125-150 watts to each component and see if they sound better.

Well I just bought 2 pairs to replace the pioneers I had. Slowly trying to piece together a system for my boat. So far so good. Just wish they had tower speakers for sale.

Tailgate - I bought these to replace the stock Kickers on my LSV. At full price it probably wasn't worth the upgrade, but for $100 it is well worth it. Based on specs and reviews I expect a very noticeable difference. I like the look better as well. You could probably sell your 6 Kickers and make your net cost close to nothing.

Well my three sets came today... The amazon warehouse is in Phoenix!! I got three sets for my brothers SAN that I gave him, it's only a signature series and came without any stereo...

Grant, don't you have an ancient Nautique speaker install thread on here somewhere? If I remember correctly the holes are cut at the factory, but you installed rings around your speakers...

Looks like one pair per user account on Amazon on these. I ordered 3 pair, got 1 (was only charged for 1). Tried to order 2 more pair, went to checkout and Amazon automatically "updated" my shopping cart to "0" and gave a message stating "limited quantities"

Great news, I was shopping around for the other 2 pair of Polk db651 and see that Earmark Marine has priced their Polk db651 at $99 for TWO PAIR. Just placed my order. I have already visited Earmark Marine in person a couple months ago when Bullet Speakers had the sale on the Hollow Point HLCD, great guys and an impressive shop to say the least.

I tried several times and different methods to add the speakers to the shopping cart. They added just find but when going to pay, that's where I kept getting the "limited quantities" message and it would update my cart to "0". Oh well, I went with Earmark Marine for a little more money but with the added security of being an authorized dealer IF something happens to the speaker. Here's the message I got "We're sorry. This item has limited purchase quantity. We have changed your purchase quantity to the maximum allowable."

I think it is only 1 pair per Amazon account user. I think I was able to order 2 pairs because I didn't sign up for an Amazon account I clicked skip when it came to that part and went straight to check out

I originally purchased one set last week and went back on today to buy three more and it would only let me buy two. I ended up having a guy I work with buy the a set for me from his account. I received the same message as AJ about being limited quantities. I will be installing mine in the spring. Bought an extra set for my sons car, as a Christmas present.
