Justin,

The job is big. Requires gutting the interior of the boat, getting the old carpeting up, removing all the glue, getting the new carpet glued down, trimming the edges, putting molding back around the edges, putting the interior back together. It's messy too with that glue, you need to be really generous when gluing it down.

is it worth getting into, my carpet is pretty shagy and i plan on doing alot of projects with it this year, fiberglass sysetem, all new lights, tower, ect. but out of all the carpet seems like it would be the hardest.
now by the molding on the edge of the carpet you mean the trim they sew around the carpets edge so it doesnt frey and looks better right?

would i have to send it in for that or is there an easey way to do it yourself?
