What's the length on the strut? I have heard it's the same as the cast and some says it longer. I would really like an LE but it is sounding like the new pro might be the upgrade it get. How's the skidders?

Goochy, are you over or under rotating your gainers? Are you getting off axis at all?

It's hard to tell from the pic above, but from you wake jumps you have the jump to pull off gainers.

Do a progressive cut out all most parallel to the boat (start your cut slow, stay up don't ride the ski on the water, cut harder as you get further out, square back to the boat, drift for a moment to start slacking the rope, jump, then look back for the landing.

If you are over rotating the flip, watch you free hand. Often people throw their other hand up, this speeds up the rotation. Try putting it on your knee.

Under rotating is easier, just jump and look back for the landing more (break at the waist a bit, lay it out somewhat).

Getting pulled to side means that you don't have slack in the rope. Cut harder or don't drift as long.

Hope that helps!!!

Can someone give me some tips on how to get the foil that high out of the water.

Larry, the good folks at have a great set of downloadible how-to's.

Here is a link to bigger air in the flats

Once you are comfortible with those, you can take them higher by using the wake. Riding the foil up the crest of the wake will get you more air. That requires some timing and you'll find that different boats have really different shaped wakes requiring changes in your jump.
